While I agree with a lot of the things Dave is saying in this post, Richard Bejtlitch for once actually makes some sense in this response on his blog (at least until he starts rambling about his latest book and how awesome the new "Threat Analytics" platform from FireEye, coincidentally his new employer, is): http://taosecurity.blogspot.se/2014/02/the-limits-of-tool-and-tactics-centric.html

I saw some verbal skirmishes on Twitter but it was never a real discussion. It would be interesting to hear Dave's response to Richard's post.
